The #3 GEO-LDN Online Seminar, titled "Land Degradation Neutrality: Preparing future decision-makers through the postgraduate course at the UENR in Sunyani, Ghana" took place on May 15, 2023. The seminar focused on highlighting the importance of studying Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN) at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR). Dr. Jonas Ayaribila Akudugu, Oversight Dean of the School of Mines and Built Environment, delivered a compelling presentation on the significance of postgraduate programs focused on LDN. He emphasized their relevance in addressing the challenges of land degradation. Additionally, Dr. Abdul-Wadood Moomen, Coordinator of the Postgraduate Programme on LDN, provided valuable insights into UENR's postgraduate program on LDN and its contribution to sustainable land management. The seminar featured informative presentations followed by an engaging question-and-answer session. Many questions regarding the application process and scholarships were addressed during this session.
