The GEO-LDN Toolbox serves as a curated entry point to help users select suitable analytic tools and methods for monitoring land degradation and planning restoration. It is designed specifically to support achieving Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN). Structured according to the five typical phases of an integrated land use planning cycle, the Toolbox brings together diverse resources ranging from participatory stakeholder engagement methods to comprehensive geospatial analysis platforms. These tools enable practitioners, policymakers and communities to assess land degradation, model future scenarios, monitor environmental change, and make evidence-based decisions about sustainable land management. By integrating both technical and analytical capabilities with participatory approaches, the Toolbox supports inclusive, science-informed planning processes that address the social, economic and biophysical dimensions of land degradation. Whether users require baseline assessments, intervention design, or long-term monitoring capabilities, the GEO-LDN Toolbox provides accessible resources to help advance LDN objectives at a variety of geographic scales.
