#8 Online Seminar Special Edition

Workshop on SEPAL Modules for Monitoring SDG Indicator 15.3.1

The GEO-LDN community participated in a two-day technical workshop on the SEPAL modules developed by FAO, designed to operationalize the latest Good Practice Guidance for SDG indicator 15.3.1 (proportion of degraded land over total land area). The SEPAL platform enables cloud-based geospatial processing and provides high spatial and temporal resolution information to assess land degradation. The tool supports customized, user-specific applications, from local to national scale, for both assessment and reporting on SDG 15.3.1.
