Defining Minimum Quality Standards for the LDN Toolbox
The seventh GEO-LDN Online Seminar, “How to define minimum quality standards for elements of the LDN Toolbox,” was held on February 26, 2024. The session focused on interoperability and the establishment of data quality standards across the Toolbox.
Alastair Graham, geographer and geospatial data analyst, presented on the minimum and preferred quality standards for different elements of the Toolbox. Drawing from his work with UNCCD and GEO-LDN, he demonstrated a tool designed to make these standards more accessible and usable. The presentation also addressed next steps for deployment, scalability, and compliance in line with international data dissemination standards.
